Starting off at a cafe called SUBstore, you can hear all the old school sounds while getting inspiration from the collection of awesome art books. The space is filled with trinkets the owners have been collecting throughout the years. There’s a feeling of organized chaos in Koenji that makes it feel cozy, like you’re transported to your grandmother’s house.
首先先来到一个叫SUBstore的咖啡店，你会听到所有old school的声音，同时还能从一些很棒的艺术书籍中汲取灵感。这个空间充满了店主收藏多年的装饰品。高円寺有一种有序的嘈杂，令人感到温馨，就像走进了外婆家。
Owned by Andhika and Kumi, SUBstore (Small Unique Book Store) has been open for 4 years now. Although they were going through some hardship when coronavirus was really tough in Japan, they’re always finding ways to collaborate with other stores and keep each other going in the neighborhood of Koenji. SUBstore turns into a bar at night and they also have live music and events, as well as yummy Indonesian food!!
